Gene's Community Service
Gene served as a member of the Homeless Leadership Council of Central Oregon.
He is an honorary member of the Sunriver Rotary Club.
Gene is a member of the VFW, American Legion, and local chapter of the retired officers' association.
Gene and his wife, Josie are members of the Sunriver Christian Fellowship church. |

Gene's Public Service Record
Gene retired as a Colonel in the United States Air Force after serving his country for 27 years.
He was appointed to the Deschutes County Commission on Children and Families in 1999 and has served both as vice-chair and chair.
Gene has been elected to three terms as a precinct committee person in Deschutes County.
From 1997-2000, he served on the Sunriver Board of Directors which is similar to a city council.
He has served as chair of the Deschutes County Republican Party and also as the treasurer. |
